Below are some steps to take if DisneyLife doesn’t seem to be working as it should.
Remember to retry accessing DisneyLife after each of them.
Check compatibility
Before trying the next steps, make sure you’re using DisneyLife on a compatible device.

Check your internet connection
Sometimes internet can be slow due to your location or many devices connected to the same network.
Also, check your connection strength. If it’s weak, try moving closer to the Wi-Fi router.

Restart your device
Switch off the device completely. Once it has been shut down safely, switch it on again.
Restarting devices is often the simplest way to fix issues.
Update your device
Make sure your device is running on the latest version of its operating system.
To find out more about how to update your device, go to your device manufacturer’s website.
Double check Device Settings in the app are correct
On your primary account, tap your Character, on the top right hand corner (iOS devices) or the menu icon on the top left corner (Android devices).
On the drop down menu, click on the Settings cog at the bottom.
Tap Device Settings.
Update your DisneyLife app
You can always find the latest version of DisneyLife in the Apple App store or Play Store for Android. Please see How do I update the app?
Remember to update the app separately on each of your registered devices.
Uninstall and reinstall the app
If updating DisneyLife as well as the device software didn’t work, deleting then reinstalling DisneyLife may help.
Note that your Downloads will be removed from the device if the DisneyLife app is uninstalled.
Your Profiles and Favourites, however, will remain, as they are linked to your account, and not the device itself.
To uninstall on iOS
- Tap and hold the app icon until it jiggles.
- Tap the x in the top left corner.
- Tap Delete.
- Reinstall the app via the App Store.
To uninstall on Android
- Go to your device’s Settings menu.
- Then go to Apps or Application Manager.
- Tap the DisneyLife app.
- Tap Uninstall.
- Reinstall from the Play Store.
To reinstall the app, just search DisneyLife in the App Store or Google Play and tap Install.
